FINALIST for NYU Fusion Film Festival Graduate Screenplay Award
April 2023 Rora's screenplay Bunny, Godmother of Title IX is a finalist for an award open to Women and Non-binary writers across all NYU Graduate Departments. That means Rora competed against the NYU Dramatic Writing and Film Departments. Hurrah Rora!
New One Act: Pulses, Places and Things
March 2023 Rora's new one act about a nurse's life outside of the hospital in 2020 was developed at NYU Grad Acting's Freeplay Festival.

Rising Sun Performance Company: Artist Residency
July 2019 Rora joins writers Emily Cordes, Kendra Augustin, & Alison Leaf to support the development of their new work, "So Sad, So Sexy," about the fetishization of mentally ill women. Rora plays Lucy, a 1860s woman whose sexually is unleashed when she views the painting Olympia.

May 2019 An Obie Award-winning company, The Bats are a thriving theatrical community who perform professionally, generate their own work, and collaborate with the country’s leading artists. Bats have given world premieres to work by A.R. Gurney, Will Eno, Thomas Bradshaw, Adam Rapp, Beau Willimon, Elizabeth Swados, Erin Courtney, and Kim Davies, among others.

Rora's original one-woman show returns to Yale!!
October 2018 Yale's Title IX Office sponsored a re-staging of Bunny, Godmother of Title IX for their annual faculty and staff training. Directed by Elise Morrison. Set Design by Adam Thompson.
Rora at the Orchard Project
June 2018 Rora developed new work as a Core Company ensemble member at the Orchard Project artist residency program. The culmination: a reading of screenplay-in-development, Bunny, with Tony Award winning actress Tonya Pinkins and acclaimed actress Heidi Armbruster.
World-Premiere of Bunny!
April 2018 Almost fifty years ago, Dr. Bernice "Bunny" Sandler filed a lawsuit which changed the world. In April, Rora told her story..
Rora researched, wrote, produced, and performed this show - many hours of interviews with her great aunt Bunny and Bunny's kids, pouring over 70 boxes of donated papers at the Schlesinger Library, Bunny's meeting notes, Bunny's photographs, congressional testimony, and on! Rora had an AMAZING team of designers, managers, assistant directors, and crew.
UPDATE: For this show, Rora received Yale Trumbull College's Fine Arts Award 2018!!!
